retirement. The NAHB, in collaboration
with AARP, developed the CAPS program
to train professionals in the techniques,
codes and standards, product ideas, and resources needed for designing and building aesthetically enriching, barrier-free living environments, and providing comprehensive and practical aging-in-place solutions.
The pinnacle of the home building industry’s  credentials is the GMB designation. Its       achievement requires a significant investment of time and demonstrates a commitment to professionalism, industry leadership and  excellence.  The curriculum includes building
